Trisuli Rafting

Trisuli Rafting, the draining river the snow melt of Ganesh and Langtang Himals, gains its name from Lord Shiva’s three pointed staff Trisuli. Legend has it that the god drove the tips into the ground creating three small lakes, which form the headwaters of the river.

This makes your fun more demanding during high flows with a good combination of continual torrents and enjoyable cool water for your Trishuli rafting.

There are few major rapids on the Trisuli starting with “Beginners Luck” & ending with the rocky & technical “Pin Ball” under the bridge of Mugling. The emphasis is on fun & safety. For those short in time for holidays it is a great trip of exciting paddling and plunging through exhilarating rapids.

Trishuli river rafting has been so well-known because of its ease of access of road beside its major part. Trisuli trip can be effortlessly managed to end at a place where a nature tour start.

The rapid on Trisuli are mainly big, bouncy and relatively safe or other accidents are rare in normal water condition, and if you wish, it is possible to walk around the few difficult rapid. Makes your fun more demanding through high flows with a good combination of incessant rapids and enjoyable peaceful water.

Kuringhat, a small and charming village is an ending spot from where you can drive to Kathmandu or Chitwan National Park for wildlife safari or Pokhara to carry on your adventure in Himalaya. Follows highway to the Trisuli rafting place, you can effortlessly come back to Kathmandu in few hours after conclusion of the trip.

Trisuli Rafting: What to Bring

Please bring along on river shorts and a T-shirt, suitable raft wear footwear, warm evening clothes, a towel, a sun block and your camera. It is also helpful to have a flashlight.
